Awards for local environmental champions
Nature Conservation was very proud to present the Excellence in the Environment Award at the Telstra Margaret River Business Awards at a gala event on 7 August at the Margaret River Cultural Centre.
Nature Conservation’s Chair Dr Boyd Wykes presented the Award congratulating the two winners Margaret River Hemp Co and The Beer Farm. The naming of three further businesses, Side Kick Cafe, Cape to Cape Explorer Tours and Ocean Grown Abalone, as Environmental Champions saw all finalists in the category recognised for their environmental commitment. Congratulations to all involved.
